Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Consumer Studies at SUNY Buffalo. She worked at Harvard Community Health Plan Member Service Department as a supervisor. She later supervised the contact lens clinic at the New England College of Optometry. Since 1994 she has worked at Eagle Vision and Eye Clinic both as a Vision Therapist and optometric assistant. Elizabeth received her certification in Vision Therapy in 1999. This process included 2000 hours of experience, an open essay test, a written test and finally oral testing by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Elizabeth continues her education through annual vision therapy seminars and conferences.
Shannon Bonjour, B.S.
Shannon received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2001. She worked on water, environmental, and construction engineering projects in Michigan, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Shannon received certifications such as OSHA training as well as completing some master’s of engineering classes. As her family size grew, Shannon changed her focus to raising her daughters. During this time, Shannon took advantage of opportunities to work with children. In the St. Vrain Valley School District, Shannon worked with students in the gifted and talented program as well as those on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Shannon helped bring math and science enrichment into a classroom setting and worked one-on-one with individuals.
Shannon came to Eagle Vision and Eye Clinic as a Vision Therapist in 2017. Prior to this, she and her children experienced being patients in the vision therapy program. Shannon has personal experience with the vision therapy home program and loves the results she and her children received.
